What Is the Content Lab?
The Content Lab is where your saved knowledge becomes new content. Instead of starting from scratch, you create from what you already know.
How to Use It
- Go to Content Lab from the main navigation
- Select the source material — specific items, collections, or highlights
- Choose an output type
- Let the AI generate a first draft using your content as the foundation
Output Types
Here is what you can create:
Articles and Blog Posts
Select 3-5 saved items on a topic and generate a comprehensive article. The AI synthesizes the key ideas from your sources.
Example: You have 5 saved videos about "remote work best practices." The Content Lab can generate a blog post titled "What I Learned from 5 Experts on Remote Work" — using actual insights from those specific videos.
Summary Comparisons
Have multiple videos or articles on the same topic? Generate a comparison that shows:
- Where the sources agree
- Where they disagree
- Unique insights from each
Knowledge Digests
Generate a weekly or monthly digest of everything you have saved and learned.
Why This Is Different
Most AI writing tools start with generic internet data. Content Lab starts with your curated knowledge. This means:
- Outputs reference things you have actually consumed
- No hallucinated facts — everything traces back to your sources
- The content reflects your specific interests and perspective
Content Lab does not make things up. It synthesizes from your saved content, so every claim can be traced back to a specific video, article, or note.
Real Use Case
A content creator's workflow:
- Watches 10 YouTube videos about a topic throughout the week
- Saves all of them to BrainTube
- On Sunday, opens Content Lab
- Selects the 10 videos as sources
- Generates a newsletter draft that synthesizes the week's learning
- Edits and publishes — 30 minutes instead of 3 hours
