What We Collect
When you use the BrainTube Chrome extension, we store the URLs, titles, and content summaries of pages you explicitly save. For YouTube videos, we also store transcripts and AI-generated summaries. AI conversation captures (from Claude and ChatGPT) are saved only when detected on supported pages.
Notion Integration
When you connect your Notion workspace via OAuth, BrainTube accesses page titles and text content of pages you explicitly grant access to during setup. We do not access your Notion comments, workspace settings, user lists, or any pages you haven't shared. Synced content is stored in BrainTube's database and processed for search, AI chat, and metadata enrichment. You can disconnect your Notion workspace at any time from Settings — this revokes our access and you can request deletion of synced content by emailing privacy@brain-tube.com.
Where Your Data Lives
All data is stored in a Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database secured with row-level security. Only you can access your corpus. We do not maintain secondary copies of your data.
What We Don't Do
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. We do not serve ads. We do not track your browsing — data is only captured when you actively click Save or Bookmark.
Analytics
We collect minimal, anonymous usage events (e.g., feature usage counts) to improve the product. No personally identifiable information is included in analytics.
Data Deletion
You can delete individual items from your library at any time. To delete your entire account and all associated data, email privacy@brain-tube.com. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.
