The Knowledge Playground: Explore Your Knowledge Graph

What Is the Knowledge Playground?

The Knowledge Playground is an interactive visual map of all your saved knowledge. It shows how your videos, articles, notes, highlights, and concepts connect to each other.

Opening the Playground

Go to Knowledge Playground from the main navigation. You will see a graph where:

  • Nodes represent your items (videos, articles, notes, concepts)
  • Edges (lines) represent connections between them
  • Node size indicates how many connections an item has

How Connections Are Made

BrainTube creates connections in two ways:

  1. AI-generated: BrainTube analyzes your content and identifies semantic relationships (e.g., two videos that discuss the same concept)
  2. User-created: You explicitly link items by adding them to the same collection, interest, or by creating manual connections

Example: You saved:

  • A YouTube video about "compound interest"
  • A blog post about "exponential growth in startups"
  • A podcast about "habit stacking"

BrainTube might connect all three because they share the concept of "compounding effects over time" — even though they are about completely different topics.

Interacting with the Graph

  • Click a node to see its details, summary, and connections
  • Drag nodes to rearrange the layout
  • Zoom in/out to explore clusters
  • Filter by content type or topic

Chat in the Playground

You can chat with your knowledge graph:

  • Ask questions like "What do my saved videos say about productivity?"
  • The AI answers using only YOUR content as context
  • It cites specific videos and articles in its responses
