How do I connect BrainTube to Claude or Cursor?

Open /connect in the app to get your MCP URL and API key, then paste it into Claude Desktop's config or Cursor's MCP settings. Your library becomes a tool the AI can call.

A Brain is a focused group of items you can chat with. Dashboard → Brains → New, pick items, give it a name. You can keep it private or share it publicly via a slug.

How does billing work?

Plans run monthly or annually with a 7-day trial. BrainTokens cover AI usage on top of your plan. Refunds within 14 days, no questions asked.

Where is my data stored?

EU-region infrastructure. You own your data, you can export it as JSON anytime, and account deletion purges backups within 30 days.

Before You Delete

Consider: pausing your subscription, exporting your data, or clearing specific items instead.

Data Export

Go to Settings → Data & Privacy → Export All Data to download a ZIP of your items, summaries, annotations, and metadata.

Deletion Process

Go to Settings → Account
Click "Delete Account"
Confirm by typing your username
All data permanently deleted within 30 days

What Gets Deleted

All saved items and metadata, transcripts, summaries, AI content, Knowledge Graph data, Second Brains and chat history, collections, annotations, API keys, and payment information.

What's NOT Deleted

Your GitHub account (separate), browser extension (uninstall manually), Obsidian plugin data (remove manually).
