"Connection Refused" or "Timeout"

Check your internet connection
Verify the endpoint URL from Settings → AI Integrations
Check if the server is up by accessing the endpoint in a browser

"Authentication Failed" or "401 Unauthorized"

Token expired — Go to Settings → AI Integrations and copy a fresh token
Wrong token format — Include "Bearer " before the token
Account issue — Verify your Pro subscription is active

"No Tools Found"

Check your AI tool supports MCP (Claude Desktop 1.0+, Cursor, etc.)
Double-check your JSON configuration for syntax errors
Restart your AI tool after config changes

You need saved content before MCP queries return results

Token Auto-Refresh

BrainTube auto-refreshes your access token every 45 minutes while the AI Integrations page is open. If authentication fails, open that page to get a fresh token.
