Filtering & Sorting

Quick Filters

  • Source type — YouTube, Articles, Screenshots, Notion, etc.
  • Collections — Filter by your custom collections
  • Tags — Filter by AI-generated or manual tags
  • Status — Indexed, Processing, Error

Search

The search bar uses hybrid search combining:

  • Semantic search — Finds conceptually related content even if exact keywords don't match
  • Keyword search (BM25) — Fast matching on exact terms
  • Entity search — Matches against extracted entities and concepts

Sorting Options

  • Recently added
  • Recently viewed
  • Most relevant (when searching)
  • Alphabetical

Content Cards

Each item card shows:

  • Thumbnail — Video frame or article image
  • Title — The original title of the content
  • Source icon — YouTube, web, Notion, etc.
  • Duration/Read time — How long the original content is
  • Summary preview — AI-generated summary snippet
  • Tags — Topic tags for quick categorization

Actions

  • Click any item to open the detail view with full transcript, summary, and annotations
  • Star items to mark them as important (prevents auto-archiving)
  • Add to Collection — Organize items into themed collections
  • Add to Brain — Manually assign items to a Second Brain

Tips

  • Use Ctrl/Cmd + K for quick search from anywhere in the app
  • Right-click items for additional actions like sharing or archiving
  • The attention score gradually decays for items you haven't revisited — star important ones!
